The Concord Monitor is an award-winning daily newspaper located in Concord, New Hampshire. Their old roof had suffered significant ice damage and required replacement. This new, eye-catching roof in “Santa Anna Blue” is fast becoming a local city landmark. This project posed some challenges in construction due to the complexities of the roof. Because the roof consists of six small and two large dormers as well as skewed angles on several of the sections, lots of parallel and perpendicular flashings were used. In addition numerous rows of snow guards were installed to prevent future snow and ice damage.
